BIO.

Maria Del Real was born on March 12th, 1988 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. From an early age she began acting in plays. Her first ever role was the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood at age five. Her family history led her to train Taekwondo for ten years, winning several regional competitions. She studied a B.S. in Communications at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí from which she graduated with the top grade and continued acting in independent plays and short films. She also worked as a news anchor at Televisora Potosina Canal 13 during four years.

In 2011, she emigrated to the United States and studied Acting at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she graduated summa cum laude. She expanded her abilities to film production where she wrote, directed, produced, and performed in collaboration with the E-Media department of the same college. Maria participated in several Fringe Festivals and 48 Hour Film Festivals.

In 2018 Maria performed in the U.S Premiere of the Pink Floyd's Opera Another Brick In The Wall, directed by Dominic Champagne, featuring original music and lyrics by Roger Waters at the Cincinnati Music Hall. In the same, year she moved to Los Angeles where she participated in various projects from plays, commercials, short films, to TV series. Some of her mayor credits are SELENA the series distributed by Netflix and COYOTE distributed by Paramount.

In 2020, Maria started coaching artists through the ALBA EMOTING system, created by Susana Bloch and expanded by Andrea Bañuelos. Maria discovered a great passion to help people to have a better mental health by managing their emotions. She has collaborated closely with Andrea Bañuelos to coach people (artists or not) by using ALBA EMOTING in a therapeutic way.

Maria moved to Montreal, Quebec in 2021 where she will study a masters in Drama Therapy at Concordia University with the objective to keep advocating for a better mental health in our society.
